Brief history
of web site coincidences affecting availability and uptime.
a.] In 2004 there were some irregularities; the specifics of
which
aren't memorable at the time of this writing.
b.] On Tuesday Aug 29, 2006, one week prior to the
Primary
of Sept. 5, 2006 our web host's 16 servers were hacked, corrupted and
permanently
down in spite of guaranteed uptimes of 99.9%. That host was mesopia.com
which is owned by netbunch.com
.
Neither of them have offered any further explanation or communication
and
have not returned to service or even offered a refund.
c.] On the eve of Nov 7th, election day, an outage of unknown
size
occurred in early afternoon and lasted until the next day - Election
Day.

70,000 Christian Coalition non partisan Voter Guides last
Tuesday.
Thanks to a great volunteer effort they were all (95%) delivered and
available
for voters, mostly through Christian Churches, this past
weekend."
