[1.]  When has more bureaucracy ever increased efficiency?  The only way gov't understands efficiency is when we cut Taxes and they can't spend it!
[3.]  No, California, pop. 30M, only needs 450k signatures to get a citizen's initiative on the ballot whereas  FL, pop. 15M,  requires 611,009. without Amendment 3 which if passed would require 672k signatures!   FL should return to 300k signatures - restoring 'The Peoples' power.
[4.]  No because this uses our Taxes instead of the funds from the class action law suit against the Tobacco companies.
[8.]  "No on any softening of eminent domain because it should never be taken from one private party and given to a non-government entity, ...."

Pinellas County Charter/  BALLOT QUESTIONS [at bottom of this Supervisor of Elections page.]
Ballot Questions

The only people analyzing these 'Ballot Questions' came from the Mayor Rick Baker of the largest city in Pinellas County and another from attorney, John Hubbar, connected with Tarpon Springs.  They both distributed their recommendation for a 'Vote NO'on All County Charter Ballot Questions.  [Tarpon Springs link busted 3/08] [See the next link below contains the Ballot Questions reprinted here for your convenience.]
